The unit is well suited for use in smaller offices, buses, and public restrooms. The unit eliminates odors, bacteria, airborne microbes, gases, mould and fungus, greatly reducing the numbers of airborne particles. The unit's included ionization tube has an operating time of approximately six months. The unit’s blue light changes from blue to red after 6 months use. When this happens the ionizing tube needs to be replaced. If the tube isn’t replaced the unit and light turn off automatically after 45 days. When the tube is replaced, the micro processor timer needs to be reset to zero. The reset button is located on the underside of the unit. Press the reset button. When this is done the unit will restart. Annual maintenance services are available and can be contracted through Matseco and Matseco maintenance partners.
